20 X 24 Cinderella By Sir John Everett Millais Painted In 1881 Is A Sweet Reminder Of Childhood Fairy Tales. Though Millais Had Moved Away From The Pre-Raphilite Movement By The Mid-1850S Many Of The Styles That He Had Established Remained With Him In His Later Paintings. The Stylings Selected For Cinderellas Clothing Quite Reminiscent Of Pre-Raphilite. At First Glance The Composition Seems Rather Simple But The Artist Utilized The Full Canvas To Add Subtle Details To Help The Story Come Alive. On The Ground Next To Cinderellas Feet We See Two Small Mice. Tucked Back Behind The Figure Are The Logs From The Fire That Our Character Would Often Fall Asleep Next To Earning Her Nickname. Over Her Shoulder We See A Hand-Crafted Broom Which Helps Guide The Eye Across The Entire Canvas. The Bottom Right To Left Direction Is Said To Create A Sense Of Harmony And Joy. In Her Hand Is A Peacock Feather Being Held In The Same Manner As A Wand. The Original Is Currently Part Of A Private Collection But Our Hand-Painted Reproduction Will Delight Your Space And Bring The Story To Life. Frame Description Black Matte Frame
