He Began This Project In 1927 And Finished This Last Painting In 1933, Two Years Before His Death. Demuth’S Primary Style, Precisionism, Spawned From The Movements Of Cubism And Futurism, Using Elements Of Both. After All Is A Perfect Example With An Industrial Scene With Smokestacks And Brick Buildings Being Depicted In An Almost Two Dimensional And Geometric Array. This Last Series Depicting The City Of Lancaster Uses A Color Palette Composed Primarily Of Reds, Whites, And Blues, Giving An Almost Patriotic Mood To The Paintings.
