20 X 24 Champs De Mars The Red Tour Was Painted Between 1911 – 1923 By French Artist Robert Delaunay. Many Of Delaunays Pieces Contain The Eiffel Tower As The Primary Subject Of Interest. Delaunay Was About Four Years Old When France Began Work On The Tower. Being In A Position Of Watching This Marvel Take Shape Was Very Influential To The Young Artist. The Reason For The Time Gap On The Actual Completion Of The Painting Is Because Delaunay Showed This Piece In An Exhibit In The Winter Of 1912. In That Exhibit The Artist Listed The Piece As Unfinished Without Anyone Knowing Where This Was By Accident Or By Design. In 1923 This Piece Was Included In Bulletin De Leffort Modern But Was Depicted Exactly As It Was Shown In 1912 With The Exception Of A Few Colors Being A Little More Filled In. The Painting Was Named After Space Where The Tower Was Constructed. Frame Description Black Matte Frame
